Overview of the Event
Date of the Event | Every second Saturday of the month in May, July, September, and November. *About once a month. | |

Opening hours of the event | From 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. *Approximately 3 and a half hours (including a 15-minute gathering and reception time before the start). | |
Experience content | 1.Talk by a fish/meat/meat product specialist. 2.Tour of the facilities inside the market. (*Please note that it may not be possible to enter the low-temperature refrigerators during operation.) 3.Simulated auction experience. 4.Fish cooking class (to be held at Kanazawa Labor Plaza). | |
Target audience | Elementary school students and above (for residents of Ishikawa prefecture) | |
Capacity | Limited to 12 groups (2 people per group: parent and child). *If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held. *There is no limit to the number of people who can observe the “simulated auction experience”. | |
Fees | 3,000 yen per group (to be paid on site / cash only). *Only one representative per group can participate in the simulated auction. *Parking fees for Kanazawa Labor Plaza are not included and must be paid separately. | |

Remarks | ・You can receive the seafood won at the mock auction experience. ・Please note that the mock auction experience and cooking class may not be held if there is no fishing on the day due to inclement weather. ・If the market experience is deemed unsafe due to the COVID-19 situation or bad weather, the event may be canceled. In that case, we will contact all participants by email or phone by the day before. | |
